Glock 43x Mos Light Options - Don't have excuses. Bad streets are no place to justify your protective gear. Whether you carry SIG SAUER or Springfield Armory or one of the popular higher-capacity micro-compacts from the GLOCK Slimline series, we made the SureFire XSC for you. Ultra-compact and virtually indestructible, it emits a vivid white light, shaped by a parabolic reflector for positive target identification in the darkest confines, so you can read and respond to any crisis with confidence. Its micro footprint does not interfere with concealment, so you will have it with you when you need it most. It is also rechargeable, with a special lithium-polymer battery that can be replaced. Intuitive, dual-switch provides instant one-finger control with momentary or continuous activation, helping you stay in control. The XSC's rugged aerospace aluminum body is Mil-Spec hard anodized for scratch and corrosion resistance and is gasket sealed to survive the wettest environments. If you're serious about personal protection, there are no excuses. XSC is your only option.
The ultra-lightweight, ultra-compact, low-profile XSC design enhances low-light capabilities while maintaining concealability and control of the weapon, giving GLOCK 43X/48, SIG SAUER P365 and Springfield Armory Hellcat owners confidence and security.

The proprietary quick-release, rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides quick and easy battery changes without removing the XSC from the gun host.
A fuel gauge attached to the battery allows convenient monitoring of the state of charge; This reduces the chance of running out of battery. If you need your Glock 43X optics, I'm here to help. The Modular Optical System, or MOS, version of the G43X has a factory-cut slide that only accepts microprint-sized optics using an RMSc-type base. Not all red dots (RDS) will fit.
Originally known for the Smith & Wesson Shield series, the RMSc trace is now used for a variety of handguns, including the SIG SAUER P365 series and the Springfield Armory Hellcat optic. The sights are more compact than conventional pistol red dot sights and are essential for slim guns like the G43X.
I have thoroughly researched the use of reflex sights on pistols and have tried several options on the market. To help you decide which red dot fits your needs, here is my list of Glock 43X optics.

This optic will also fit the Glock 48 MOS pistol. While I try to keep the list up to date, I know I will miss out on some new products. So, feel free to leave information about anything not on the list in the comments section below.
Before we get into the details of each optic, here's a feature and price comparison chart of the available options.

Riton Optics offers a solidly built mini red dot optic for your slim Glock pistol. Called the X3 TACTIX MPRD, this sight is made with a 6061-T6 aluminum body and multi-coated lenses. When it comes to durability, only the Swampfox Sentinel (scroll down) wins.

The X3 TACTIX MPRD is a fully mechanical optic with 10 red dot brightness levels. The first and second levels are compatible with night vision, and the remaining brightness levels are compatible with the Mk1 eye in various lighting conditions. The auto shut-off function starts after 12 hours.
Riton claims a light transmission rate of 99.5% with its high-density glass and multi-coating. The lens coating reduces glare, improves clarity in low light and resists scratches.
The company has a simple guarantee: if it ever fails, send it back and Riton Optics will send you a new one. You don't need to register the product, you don't need documentation, and you don't even need to be the original purchaser. The company aims to process any refund within 48 hours. It would be hard to beat a service like this.
Retail price for the optic is $299.99. The sight is relatively new, so you must purchase directly from Ryton. When it hits the market, I'm sure we'll see discounts at regular retailers on this approach.
Glock 43x Vs. P365: Which Is Better For Edc?
Shield Sights is the longest running manufacturer of micro red dot sights for pistols like the Glock 43X. The company currently offers two main models: RMSc and SMSc.
Built in England, the RMSc uses an aluminum housing with a polymer lens to display the red dot. Shield Sights does not list the type of aluminum it uses for the housing.
Shield Sights use an anti-reflective coating on the lens to reduce glare when looking into the G43X. Polymer lenses are used in many reflex sights and typically reduce manufacturing costs. However, some people report that the lens is susceptible to scratches.
You can purchase this sight with a 4 MOA or 8 MOA dot. For me, I prefer 4 MOA, but 8 MOA really jumps out at you. For a defensive close shot, a larger point isn't a bad choice, so choose what feels best to you.

The Shield does not specify how many brightness levels the sight can use. Instead, the point is automatically adjusted based on the lighting conditions.
Shield offers a 7-year warranty on the RMSc electronics and a lifetime warranty on all other components.
As Shield is an English company, purchasing direct from the company requires currency conversion from US dollars to British pounds. In addition, purchases are subject to VAT or value added tax. At the time of writing, the sight retails for £300 before VAT. After currency conversion and VAT added, the price is approximately $472.98 plus overseas shipping.
Another Shield product, this unit looks similar but also has some new features. The most obvious change is that the SMSc uses a polymer body instead of aluminum.

Shield redesigned the lens. You can now get a polymer lens with a special hard quartz coating for increased durability and scratch resistance. You can completely replace the polymer lens with a glass lens.
As with the RMSc, the SMSc is a continuous sight with automatically adjustable brightness. When mounted on a Glock pistol, the sensor measures ambient light and changes the relative brightness of the red dot.
The SMSc can be purchased with a 4 MOA or 8 MOA aiming point. It has the same 7-year/unlimited warranty as RMSc.
With quartz-coated polymer lenses, the SMSc's MSRP with VAT is $346.85. The glass lens upgrade will cost an additional $126.13, for a total of $472.98. Coincidentally, it is the same price as RMSc.

Alternatively, you can try to pick it up at a retailer located in the US. However, the only retailer that seems to carry it right now is Springfield Armory. The company's price is $299, but they are out of stock and there is no expected date.
If you didn't already know, SIG SAUER is now an optics manufacturer. The company makes everything from rangefinders to high-powered scopes. One of its latest additions is the Romeo Zero RDS, which fits the Glock 43X and other slim pistols.
The Romeo Zero is made with a polymer body and lens. This allows it to be light - about 0.4 ounces according to the company's specifications.
For durability I much prefer a 6061 or 7075 aluminum body. However, polymer has proven to be a durable material for gun parts. I also prefer a glass lens. However, polymer is a proven material for optics, so you should be fine with this sight as long as you don't abuse it.
Sidearms & Scatterguns
The SIG uses a motion activation system to activate the red dot. The system seems to work well and I have no problem trusting it.
The brightness of the dots is controlled manually. With Romeo Zero you get eight manually adjustable brightness levels. Two models are available: one with a 3 MOA dot and one with a larger 6 MOA dot.
One of the main attractions of this show is its price: $219. When you buy online, the total cost drops below $200 with free shipping. This is by far the best value on this list.
Reader Mike W. emailed me about compatibility with the Romeo Zero G43X MOS. He said the mounting screws that come with the scope are too long for a Glock pistol. This shows a problem I ran into when trying to mount a Romeo Zero on a Springfield Armory Hellcat.

I am trying to find a replacement set of screws. It has been suggested to me that these M4-0.70x8mm flathead screws are suitable replacements, but I have not yet confirmed this.
If you're running a Romeo Zero in your Glock 43X MOS, can you let us know what modifications or replacement bolts you have?
